The Opportunity
Neurex AI is building applied AI systems that operate inside real healthcare workflows. This role is for researchers who want to bridge the gap between cutting-edge AI research and production healthcare systems.
You will lead research initiatives that directly translate into products used by clinicians and healthcare operators.
What You Will Do
- Lead research on clinical AI applications and healthcare machine learning
- Design experiments to validate AI approaches for healthcare use cases
- Collaborate with engineering to transition research into production systems
- Work with clinical advisors to ensure AI outputs meet healthcare standards
- Publish research and contribute to the broader clinical AI community
- Define evaluation frameworks for clinical AI model performance
What You Will Build
- Novel approaches to clinical text understanding and reasoning
- Evaluation benchmarks for healthcare AI systems
- Research prototypes that inform product development
- Clinical validation frameworks for AI model outputs
- Methodologies for safe and reliable healthcare AI deployment
Who You Are
- PhD or equivalent experience in machine learning, NLP, or related field
- Strong publication record in ML/NLP or clinical informatics
- Experience translating research into production systems
- Domain knowledge of healthcare, clinical workflows, or medical informatics
- Clear communicator who can work across research and engineering
